Welcome dear readers! Today I’m participating in the Dewey’s Readathon again. I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years!
In the past I also had an active role in this readathon. I’ve donated prizes, I cheered readers on as a cheerleader. But in recent years I only participate as a reader. I try to read as much as possible today. I don’t care about the number of books or pages. I’m going to bed early tonight so I can read for a long time. I don’t stay up all night, but I know there are participants who actually read for 24 hours.

Hello everyone! Maybe you are from America, Italy or Australia, tell me! And off course: welcome to my blog! Today we read together during Dewey’s 24 hour Readathon.
What fine part of the world are you reading from today? I’m from Holland. I live in a small village. I participate in this readathon at least once a year. It’s fun and it motivates me to read more this weekend. I make a lot of coffee, bought cookies and my sweet little cat is my company today! I wish everyone a lot of beautiful books and a lot of fun this weekend!
Eindelijk begon de lente en wat een geluk: ik kon al buiten lezen! Ik ben een buitenlezer pur sang, dus ik kon weer lekker het lezen oppakken. Naast lezen had ik ook veel geluk, ik won namelijk vijf ebooks bij een winactie van Sanoma!
Naast dat ik vijf ebooks won, kocht ik ook nog eens twee ebooks vanwege de Boekenweek. Daarbij kreeg ik ‘Makkelijk leven’ van Herman Koch. Ook viel er nog een recensie-boek in mijn inbox. Dit zet de teller op negen nieuwe boeken op een week tijd. Ach, wat iemand anders heeft met schoenen, heb ik met boeken.

Je hebt het goed gezien, week 15 is ertussenuit. Vorige week had ik een abc-tag gepubliceerd. Maar ik ben er deze weer met de vertrouwde blogpost. Ik heb het zelf ook gemist. Ik heb afgelopen week veel gedaan en meegemaakt op boekengebied.
Het allerfijnste was wel dat ik mijn leesritme weer terug heb. En hoe! ‘Doelwit’ van Linda Jansma was ontzettend goed. Een hele krachtige thriller over eerwraak. Er ligt nu weer een goede thriller klaar: ‘Vreemden in de nacht’ van Judith Visser. Wat ik gaaf vind aan haar schrijfstijl is dat ze over the edge durft te gaan in haar verhalen.
